Grass Fire Flared Near I-45 and Burleigh
With temperatures exceeding 100 in Brookfield and Wauwatosa, a small grass fire erupted near the two communities' border.
With record-hot temperatures scorching southeastern Wisconsin, a grass fire flared near I-45 and Burleigh Road, about 1 p.m. Thursday, sending heavy smoke into the area.
WISN.com reported the fire was quickly extinguished by crews.
