'Heavy Downpours' Expected As Thursday Storms Move In

MILWAUKEE, WI — The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for parts of Wisconsin, as heavy storms move through the area on Thursday.

Thunderstorms are likely over south central Wisconsin this morning especially west of a line from Princeton to Madison to Monroe, weather officials said. Heavy rainfall will occur at times with at least a slight potential for flash flooding.

At just before 10 a.m., the NWS delivered an update on the approaching storms, saying that showers and thunderstorms are developing in east central Wisconsin. Heavy downpours are expected.
