MILWAUKEE, WI — Southeastern Wisconsin has already seen its share of heavy rains over the early part of this week, but according to the National Weather Service, there's more severe weather on its way.

The NWS says that several rounds of thunderstorms are expected over the next few days. There is a slight risk of severe thunderstorms Wednesday during the afternoon and evening, roughly north of a line stretching from Sheboygan to Spring Green. A marginal risk for severe storms covers areas to the south.

Here's the bad news: strong winds and large hail are the main threats. The NWS says residents saw storms this morning, only to have those storms re-develop later this afternoon and evening.
