Improv Comedy Announces Opening Date For Brookfield Location

BROOKFIELD, WI — A long lasting comedy brand plans to open a venue in time for post-pandemic gatherings late this summer.

Improv Milwaukee will open its doors on August 20 at The Corners of Brookfield (20111 W. Bluemound Rd.) The 13,049-square-foot venue, located on the lower level of the northeast side of the town center, features two live performance stages with full food and bar service, the company said.

Entertainment will include some of the top comedians of the industry, the company said. The venue will also focus on local talent with open mic nights, showcases and performance spotlights.

"We know the greater Milwaukee community and beyond has been anticipating our opening since we first announced our debut in Wisconsin, and we’re thrilled that the time has finally come to open our doors," Alireza Ghaemian, CEO of Levity Line, the entertainment company that owns Improv, said.

The talent lineup for mid-August to early December will be announced in mid-June. Tickets will go on sale in June through Improv's website.

Improv Milwaukee will be the company's 25th location in the nation, along with locations in Los Angeles, Chicago and Houston.
