Education, experience: I recently completed my doctoral degree in Philosophy, Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My previous work experiences are quite diverse! I've had the opportunity to diversify my skill set in collaborating with adults, families and students through work experiences in school administration, non-profit family program management, adjunct instructor for graduate-level courses in education, K-12 resource teacher, and classroom teacher. Other colleges I've attended include UW-LaCrosse, Arizona State University, and UW-Platteville.
Why did you choose Elmbrook? I am excited to have the opportunity to serve in a school system with the reputation for excellence that Elmbrook schools have maintained in this climate of change. I look forward to serving as a peer teacher for any subject, grade level or educational transitions to which I will be assigned.
Hobbies: I ride motorcycle, volunteer as a divorce care recovery facilitator, read for enjoyment, write for recreation and publication, and juggle "taxi service" requests from my three children.
Favorite vacation: I made the decision to move BACK to Wisconsin from an early teaching career in Arizona. I love residing and "vacationing" right here in Wisconsin! You will find me planning any number of random daytrips (concerts, nature, amusement parks, community festivals, etc) with my kids. It's all good.
