Motorcyclist Speeds Away from Cops at More Than 135 MPH

The man finally stopped after almost crashing into the third squad car that was attempting to stop him.

A 32-year-old Hartland man is in custody after a high speed chase exceeding speeds of 135 mph.

The incident took place on Sunny Slope Road in Brookfield on Tuesday night, according to a BrookfieldNow.com article. The motorcycle drove past an officer patrolling the area at 91 mph; when the officer pursued the motorcycle, the driver went faster and exceeding the police squad's max of 135 mph.

Officers later identified the driver as Bradley J. Peters; he was arrested.
