Neighborhood Tradition: Performing 'The Nutcracker'

In what has become an annual tradition, children in one Brookfield neighborhood performed "The Nutcracker" for family and friends.

The elaborate basement production is entirely "kid-run," from the direction, choreography, costumes and more. From ages 5 to 15, the girls — and yes, a few boys — touched the hearts of those who watched.
