Police Investigate Violent Racial Threat Complaint In Brookfield
Police confirmed they were dispatched to Dunham's Sports on West Bluemound Road on Saturday in response to the complaint.
BROOKFIELD, WI — The Town of Brookfield Police Department confirmed it is investigating an employee’s report that a customer made violent racial threats Saturday at a Brookfield sporting goods store.
Police confirmed to Patch that officers went to Dunham’s Sports at 18200 W. Bluemound Rd. at 11:15 a.m. Saturday to look into the report.
The employee, who appears to be Black, posted a TikTok video on the account of micah.colemann detailing what she said were threats made by a customer against “communists” and “Black Lives Matter” people. “I’m going to kill all Black Lives Matter, not that you are a bad person or anything,” the employee in the video said the man told her.

Patch reached out to the woman in the video on Tuesday. Patch also reached out to Dunham’s Sports for comment.
Police have not confirmed the specific language of the threats and said they cannot comment on that at this time.
In the TikTok video, the woman said the man bought cases of ammunition. As she rang up his purchase, the man said, “I’m going to kill all communists,” she said.
He told her he had a large amount of ammunition and more than a hundred guns at his house. She said the man told her to “warn her people.” He then told her, “I’m not going to let you people take over the country. God bless the Constitution,” she said.
