Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts Announces 2017 Starry Nights Outdoor Concert Lineup

Season begins June 30 with open-air concerts and local food vendors.

BROOKFIELD, WI - The Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts just released its lineup for the 2017 Starry Nights outdoor concert series, kicking off June 30 with the Wisconsin Philharmonic, and continuing every Friday through July.

The line up includes:

  • Wisconsin Philharmonic, one of the most popular orchestras in southeast Wisconsin. 6:30 p.m. June 30.
  • Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, a nationally recognized youth orchestra program. 6:30 p.m. July 7.
  • The Jimmys, a Madison-based band performing a unique blend of blues, soul, funk, and R&B. 6:30 p.m. July 14. Attendees are invited to cruise to the show in their classic car or motorcycle for Classic Vehicle Night.
  • Robbie Fulks, Chicago-based singer/songwriter performing honky-tonk, bluegrass, power pop, and more. 6:30 p.m. July 21.
  • Stray Voltage, a fun mix of unique rock. 6:30 p.m. July 28.

Attendees can bring a picnic basket or enjoy one of the local food vendors, including BelAir Cantina, Brew City Snowballs, Papa's Sweet Corn, Street-za Pizza, Treat Street, and Twisted Bistro. Carry-ins also are welcome.

The concerts are free and held 6:30 p.m. Fridays at the Gerlach/Haack Outdoor Theater. The theater offers lawn seating only and patrons are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for seating. Pop-up tents are not allowed to ensure good sightlines for the audience.
