MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — According to the National Weather Service, light snow is expected to spread into south central and east central Wisconsin later this morning and early afternoon. The light snow may mix with light freezing drizzle for a time as surface temperatures warm.
Between one and two inches of snow is expected from around Reedsburg and the Wisconsin Dells east to Montello, Berlin and Fond du Lac. The wintry mix may transition to freezing drizzle again tonight as temperatures fall.
The National Weather Service is reporting that between the light snowfall and light icing, slippery spots may develop on untreated roads and walks resulting in potential travel impacts. A Winter Weather Advisory may be issued later today for parts of southern Wisconsin.
