Target To Sell Pokemon Cards After Brookfield Fight Suspension
The retailer won't sell MLB, NFL or NBA cards in store for now, but says they can be purchased online.

BROOKFIELD, WI — Pokemon trading cards will return to Target after sales were briefly suspended due to safety concerns. But sports trading cards still won't be sold in stores for now.
"The safety of our guests and team members is our top priority," the retailer said. "With careful consideration and new parameters in place, including purchase limits, beginning June 1, Pokémon trading cards can be purchased in store, as available, with a limit of two packs per guest. Guests can continue to shop for all trading cards, including MLB, NFL and NBA trading cards online at Target.com."
Target temporarily halted sales of Pokemon, MLB, NFL and NBA trading cards on May 14. The store said it pulled cards "out of an abundance of caution," and said it wanted to ensure the safety of its guests and team.
