Walmart on Brookfield-New Berlin Border Passes Latest Hurdle
The Greenfield Avenue Supercenter would replace another New Berlin store; resident protests have had little impact so far.
A 24-hour Walmart Supercenter on the New Berlin-Brookfield border received the blessing of the New Berlin Plan Commission on Tuesday, according to New Berlin NOW.
The store is planned for 15205 W. Greenfield Ave. Some neighbors had vehemently opposed the store, and even filed a suit charging that a re-zoning vote on Jan. 7 was not properly noticed, NOW reported.
