Waukesha State Bank Breaks Ground For New Brookfield Site

Waukesha State Bank broke ground today for its new Brookfield Office, located at 18300 W. Capitol Dr.

The new office, scheduled to open in spring of 2014, will replace its current Brookfield Office, located less than one mile west at 19265 W. Capitol Dr.

The groundbreaking was attended by Dan Vrakas, Waukesha County Executive, Mayor Steven Ponto, City of Brookfield, Carol White, executive director of the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce, and Suzanne Kelley, president of the Waukesha County Business Alliance. Also in attendance representing Waukesha State Bank were Ty R. Taylor, president and CEO, Katie Hibbard, bank manager of the Brookfield Office, and Devon Arnold, vice president of retail banking.

The new office will continue to provide the same comprehensive banking services the current office provides, and its current staff will move to the new office, including Hibbard who will remain as its bank manager and lead the move to the new building. The office’s architecture will be in a Prairie style, featuring 5,500 square feet of interior space, including a community room that is available at no cost to local community groups and non-profits. It also features drive-up windows and a drive-up ATM.
