Road Rage Caused Lane Closure On I-94 Near Brookfield: WSP

A driver in a Nissan Altima with dark tinted windows pointed a handgun out the driver's side window and fired a round, according to WSP.

BROOKFIELD, WI— Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to a road rage incident involving shots fired from a car along I-94 westbound near Brookfield Wednesday afternoon.

The incident caused all westbound lanes on I-94 at Moorland Road in Brookfield to close for 40 minutes. Patch reached out to the Wisconsin State Patrol's Sgt. Richard Krisher.

He said law enforcement were looking for a bullet casing fired from a car. It is not known if the bullet casing was located.

Initial reports indicate a driver, in a black Nissan Altima with dark tinted windows and no license plate, pointed a handgun out the driver’s side window and fired a round into a pickup truck. No injuries were reported, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

At this time the Nissan has not been located. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the WI State Patrol Waukesha Post at 262-785-4700 reference case # 000174-3436.
