Wisconsin Weather: Heat Index Could Reach 100 Saturday

The National Weather Service says multiple rounds of storms and dangerously-high temperatures are on their way this weekend.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Dangerously hot weather and a round of thunderstorms are on the menu this weekend in Wisconsin, according to the National Weather Service.

Weather observers say a couple rounds of severe storms are likely to come our way Friday night into Saturday morning, and another round is expected to arrive later Saturday night into Sunday morning.

The NWS says Saturday could see heat index temperatures climb to near 100 degrees. Sunday has the potential to be slightly cooler depending on how storms roll through the area Saturday night, they said.
