Wisconsin Weather: Snow, Bitter Cold Coming Later Wednesday

MILWAUKEE, WI — The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for parts of east-central Wisconsin, south-central Wisconsin and southeast Wisconsin for Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Patchy freezing drizzle and light snow will continue across southern and south-central Wisconsin through midday. A few slick spots will be possible on area roadways.

Wind chills will dip to 10 to 15 below zero over parts of south central Wisconsin late tonight.

The next weather system to affect southern Wisconsin will bring accumulating snow and possibly a wintry mix to the area from later Friday afternoon into Saturday.

Weather observers say there remains some uncertainty on the exact track of the weekend system, but travel impacts are likely. Keep up to date on the latest forecast for Friday night and Saturday.

Wind chills are expected to fall to 10 to 20 below zero Saturday night.
