Wisconsin Weather: Thunderstorms Friday During Commute Hours

Locally, heavy rainfall will be possible, especially over southeastern Wisconsin, the National Weather Service says. Here's when:

MILWAUKEE, WI — The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Alert thunderstorms will become more widespread across the area today, with the chance continuing into this evening.

Locally, heavy rainfall will be possible, especially over southeastern Wisconsin, the National Weather Service says.

There is a moderate to high swim risk today at Lake Michigan beaches. The highest risk will be north of Milwaukee.
