Charges Filed In May Shooting Inside On The Border Club: Report

According to a news report, a man who fired a gun inside the On The Border club in May has been charged.

FRANKLIN, WI— A man has been charged in connection with the shooting that happened at the On The Border club in May, FOX 6 Now reported.

Police were called to the club on May 25 following reports of a gunshot inside the club. Police said that a man shot a gun inside the club and then fled, but no one was injured.

Ricardo Rivera, 33, of Milwaukee is charged with second-degree recklessly endangering safety and carrying a concealed weapon in connection with the shooting, according to the Fox 6 report.

New details revealed in the report allege that Rivera had asked a woman at the club to go home with him, but he became agitated after being turned down multiple times.

The woman began to walk into the locker room when Rivera grabbed her, pointed a gun at her and said, "I'll shoot you and everyone else here," the news channel reported, citing the criminal complaint.

After the encounter, a gunshot was heard throughout the club, the report said.

No injuries were reported as a result of the shooting.
