Flame Fastpitch Softball Tryout Dates Announced

FRANKLIN, WI — Tryout dates for Franklin's Flame Fastpitch softball, a youth tournament club team, have been announced by the team.

Tryouts will be held on July 23 and July 25, according to an announcement from the team. Flame Fastpitch consists of multiple different age levels that youth can tryout for. It was started in 2008 with one 10U team, but has since expanded to a 10U, 12U, 8U and Womens Open team, according to the team website.

Tryouts for each team will be held at the Franklin Little League field located at 8900 S 76th Street in Franklin. Below is a schedule of tryouts for each team.

July 23

8U: 5:30-7 p.m.

10U: 5:30-7 p.m.

12U: 7-8:30 p.m.

July 25

8U: 6-7:30 p.m.

10 U: 6-7:30 p.m.

12U: 7-8 p.m.

Tryouts for 16U are available only by appointment, the team website said. Contact coach Rob Beckmann at deekmann@gmail.com to schedule an appointment.

The team asked that players arrive 15-20 minutes before tryouts begin with completed paperwork.
