Over the past several years, the availability of substitute teachers has become increasingly difficult for Franklin schools.

FRANKLIN, WI—Franklin Public Schools are looking for substitute teachers.

“In working to do what’s best for our students, we are putting out the call to one of our best recruiting bases: our parent community,” the school system explained.

Applicants should hold at least an associate's degree. Training is provided.

FPS says even if applicants only want to work certain days of the week or within certain buildings, they could still apply.

Franklin School District director of human resources Valley Elliehausen explained that the pandemic has made an already difficult situation harder.
