Milwaukee Milkmen's First Home Game Is Tuesday Against Winnipeg

FRANKLIN, WI — The Milwaukee Milkmen will honor its 2020 championship win with a ring ceremony and banner unveiling at its first home game of the new season Tuesday, according to a Facebook post.

For its first 2021 home game, the Milwaukee Milkmen will play against the Winnipeg Goldeyes at 6:35 p.m. at Franklin Field, the Milkmen's home field, 7035 S. Ballpark Drive in Franklin.

Team members will receive a 2020 championship ring Tuesday night, but they aren't the only ones getting new bling: The ceremony will offer children in attendance a championship ring pop giveaway, according to the Facebook post.

The Milkmen won last year's championship over Sioux Falls in a best-of-seven series to secure the 2020 American Association Championship winning title, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.

The Milkmen will also host a military appreciation night Saturday, a dairy appreciation event on June 12, a helicopter candy drop event on June 20 and more community events at later games, according to its official website.

The Milkmen obtained approval from the Franklin Health Department to open games up to 50 percent capacity at Franklin Field, the Journal Sentinel reported.
