Polish Fair And Picnic Planned For July: Polish Center of WI

Polish Fest typically falls on this weekend, but it was canceled again this year. A different Polish heritage event is scheduled for July.

FRANKLIN, WI—The Polish Center of Wisconsin announced Thursday that it will host a Fair and Picnic event at its Franklin location in late July.

The new fair and picnic announcement avoids a complete loss of Polish heritage events this season. The usual Milwaukee Polish Fest would have been opening tonight, but this year's festival was canceled due to continued concerns about the pandemic, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.

The new fair and picnic will host three nights of music and live dancers plus food, drinks, raffles, vendors and more, according to the Polish Center's website.

Local artists may also have the opportunity to exhibit at the fair. Those interested should email info@polishfest.org, a Facebook post from the Polish Center of Wisconsin said.
