Political Signs Thefts Prompt Arrests
As the election comes closer, the Franklin Police Department reports "several" arrests of people stealing political signs.
FRANKLIN, WI— The Franklin Police Department announced this week that police had arrested several people for stealing political signs this election season.
An individual was cited for Criminal Damage to Property, Theft and Trespass to Land, after political signs were damaged and taken at West Drexel Avenue and South 51st Street Wednesday, according to police.
The Franklin Police Department encourages citizens to call FRPD at 414-425-2522 if they see anyone damaging or taking political signs.
