FRANKLIN, WI — The coronavirus has upended and changed nearly every aspect of modern life in 2020 and those changes have also creeped into our favorite fall activities like going to the pumpkin patch.

Due to the pandemic, many of the pumpkin patches in and near Franklin have to adjust their hours, activities and methods of operation for the fall.

That being said, you can still visit an area pumpkin patch provided you take all the necessary precautions and double check the hours and rules for nearby pumpkin patches, including whether you need to make a reservation.

Lindners Farm Pumpkin Patch

  • Address: 19075 West Cleveland Avenue, New Berlin
  • Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, closing on Oct. 31
  • Admission: Free
  • Events: $4 to attend petting zoo and corn maze from Monday through Thursday. $5 for both events on Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Swan's Pumpkin Farm

  • Location: 5930 Highway H, Franksville
  • Hours: Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday- Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Events: Hay ride, barrel train, pedal carts, pumpkin jump pad, corn maze — $10 for all-access wristband. Events are held noon to close on weekdays.

Jerry Smith Produce & Pumpkin Farm

  • Address: 7150 18th St, Kenosha
  • Hours: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Pumpkin patch closes Oct. 31
  • Events: Activity area includes a corn maze, hay ride, bouncy pillow, petting zoo and more. Open 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $5 for kids 3-years-old and under and $10 for kids over the age of 3.
