Voters take to the polls this Aug. 11 in Greendale for the fall partisan primary. Here are the new polling places, candidates and more.
GREENDALE, WI — Voters in Greendale will take to the polls on Aug. 11 for the fall partisan primary, and will see a number of contested elections on the ballot. Because of a number of overlapping representative districts, not all the candidates will appear on the same ballots.

In Greendale, voters will see contested races for Milwaukee County Register of Deeds, and the following races:

State Sen. District 28
Republican incumbent Dave Craig isn't running for reelection. Steve Bobowski, Dan Griffin, Jim Engstrant, Julian Bradley and Marina Croft are running in the Republican primary.

State Assembly District 82
Republican incumbent Ken Skowronski faces Theodore Kafkas in the Republican primary. Jacob Malinowski and Paul McCreary are in the Democratic primary.
1st District Congress
Josh Pade and Roger Polack face each other in the Democratic Primary, and the winner takes on Republican incumbent Bryan Steil in the November general election.

Deadline for Returning your Absentee Ballot
Completed absentee ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on election day.

- Avoid long lines in August or November
In-Person Absentee Voting
In-person absentee voting takes place from July 28 through Aug. 5, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the village.
The last day to request an absentee ballot by mail is Aug. 6, and the last day to register in the Clerk's office August 7. Voters can still register on election day at the polls.
