'Teen Water Wars' In Greendale Rescheduled: Races, Games And More

The Greendale Public Library is hosting a variety of water themed events July 15.

UPDATE: Teen Water Wars has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 15 due to cold weather, the Greendale Public Library said. Those already registered will automatically be re-registered for the new date.


GREENDALE, WI — A Teen Water Wars Event will be hosted by the Greendale Public Library on Thursday with water themed challenges for 6-12 grade, according to a Facebook post from the library.

The event will be held outside from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, the post said. The different events for teens will include relay races, games and competitions. The event is free, but requires registration ahead of time, according to the library's Facebook post.

The event will give teens the chance to compete in many events while also cooling off from the summer heat. "Come ready to get wet," the library said in its post.

The Greendale Public Library is located at 5647 Broad Street in downtown Greendale.
