Ballpark Commons Lands Minor League Team; Naming Contest Next
MLB Pitchers Junior Guerra and Max Scherzer once played for the league that will soon call home to Franklin. Name the team and win $2,500!

FRANKLIN, WI — Franklin's Ballpark Commons project at the Rock Sports Complex has secured an independent minor league professional baseball team, and developers are holding a contest to name the team.
Mike Zimmerman, Chief Executive Officer of ROC Ventures and its new development, Ballpark Commons, invited the public to name the team in time for their 2019 launch.
“We’re offering a $2,500 prize to the person who contributes the name we use,” Zimmerman said in a prepared statement. “There’s no better way to make this team a part of the community than to have the people in the stands help to define its image and style.”
