To celebrate the Village of Greendale's 75th anniversary, the Greendale Chamber of Commerce will host a community-wide tailgate party and Milwaukee Brewers game outing May 5. The tailgate party will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Greendale High School﻿, 6801 Southway, and will be held rain or shine. Following the party, fans will board school buses and arrive at Miller Park in time to see the Brewers take on the St. Louis Cardinals at 1:10 p.m. From March 15 through April 5, tickets for the Brewers game may be purchased online only for $20 each (plus a handling fee) through a link on the following websites: <a href="http://www.greendalechamber.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.greendalechamber.com</a>, <a href="http://www.greendale.org" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.greendale.org</a>, <a href="http://www.greendale.k12.wi.us" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.greendale.k12.wi.us</a> and <a href="http://www.greendalecelebrations.org" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.greendalecelebrations.org</a>. Tickets for the tailgate party will be available for purchase from March 15 through April 26 at the Greendale Park and Recreation Department located in the Greendale Public Library, 5647 Broad Street. Ticket sale hours are Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with extended hours on Tuesdays until 6:30 p.m. Cash or checks made payable to the Greendale Chamber of Commerce will be accepted. Tickets are $5 and include choice of sandwich, side salads, chips, cookie and a soft drink. The Greendale Chamber of Commerce will cover the cost of transportion to the game. Children under the age of 3 are not permitted to ride on the school bus, and children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
