The single most pressing issue facing our state is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
The inaction of our state legislature. Right now, even though we pay their salary, our elected folks in Madison aren't do anything. I plan to be an active leader who listens to our community and brings bipartisan ideas to the state capitol and actually start making Madison work for us. This is a full time job; it should be treated like one.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
We've got hundreds of real bipartisan policy ideas on our website, and we're running not on a resume, but on a willingness to show up for work and actually get things done. It's about attitude, and I'm working hard to fight for my home.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I served on the School Board, worked 3 low-wage jobs to pay for college, and I've been having thousands of conversations with folks around here and actually listening to our community.

What steps should state government take to bolster economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic for local businesses?
Invest directly in local businesses and the folks who work at them. Offer recovery grants, and make a plan for long-term recovery and growth once we get through the pandemic. In order to do any of this, the State Assembly needs to go back to work, something they've failed to do for over 170 days.
How will you address the calls for racial justice and police reform?
Listen first, and move towards direct solutions. I've shown up at as many events as possible in our community, and the policy on our website reflects the conversations I've had with folks around here. We need mutual trust and accountability between the police and the people they protect. Our legislature must actually show up for work and debate bills which tackle these problems head-on.
List other issues that define your campaign platform:
1)Take a science-based, people-first approach to pandemic recovery.
2)Invest in public education and lower the cost of technical school.
3)Accept federal Medicaid dollars and make prescription drugs cheaper.
4)Reduce the burden of property taxes by closing the dark store loophole.
5)Fund a mental health counselor for every school district.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
We've got over 200 real bipartisan ideas on my website, and my personal cell is 414-460-8621 -- I'd love to hear from you.
