MILWAUKEE, WI — Bed Bath & Beyond stores in Wisconsin survived a round of cuts back in 2017, but the popular home store with 10 locations in Wisconsin may see a few changes later this year.

The retail giant says upgrades will be coming to a chunk of its stores before Christmas while underperforming locations might close or be relocated in the near future.

The news came in a letter to shareholders from the interim CEO Mary A. Winston and the chairman of the board of directors, Patrick R. Gaston.

In the letter, the company executives said a rapid refresh of 160 Bed Bath & Beyond locations is underway and is expected to be finished before the 2019 holiday season. It’s not known which locations will see this changed look but the improvements will be clearly visible and will improve the shopping experience, the letter says.
