Elderly Woman Bit Greendale Police Officer: Cops
Greendale police said the woman checked herself out of the hospital against the advice of doctors before eventually biting the officer.

GREENDALE, WI — A Greendale police officer was bitten after authorities helped bring an elderly patient back to a local hospital, police say.
According to Greendale police call logs, officers were sent to a home on Steeple Drive just before noon on Sep. 7 to check on the well-being of a 78-year-old woman.
Police said the woman checked herself out of the hospital against the advice of doctors.

Police said neighbors expressed concern to Greendale police that the woman appeared confused and unable to care for herself.
Greendale police said the woman was transported her back to the hospital, where she bit an officer, and attempted to bite hospital security. She has not been charged, court records show.
