Green Up Greendale

The Greendale Goes Green Committee is sponsoring this event, which includes exhibitors who will highlight ways to be "green, sustainable, healthy and socially responsible" and showcase related projects from students in the Greendale School District. 

There will be presentations on pesticides, energy efficiency, preserving food, water efficiency, container gardening, the Transition Milwaukee initiative, water quality, renewable energy and basic bicycle maintenance.

The committee is a team of district staff, teachers, administrators and students working with members of the community to enhance local knowledge of green and sustainability concepts. They want to raise awareness of the monetary, health and environmental benefits of adopting an eco-friendly lifestyle.
