Land O Lakes District Barbershop Convention and Competition

Barbershop choruses and quartets from several states and Canadian provinces are in Greendale Friday and Saturday to compete for spots in international competitions to follow later this year. The Land 'o Lakes District of the Barbershop Harmony Society covers Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota and the western half of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, plus Manitoba, Saskatchewan and the western half of Ontario. 

The top choruses and quartets will compete in July at the International Competition and Convention. The quartet preliminary competition begins at 6 p.m. Friday, April 29; finals are at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 30. The chorus competition is at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30.
