Glow-in-the-Dark Skate on Friday
Milwaukee County's Wilson Ice Arena hosts glow-in-the-dark ice skating.

The Milwaukee County Parks Wilson Ice Arena will host the 2nd Annual Glow-In-The-Dark Skate, Friday, November 23, 6–9 p.m. This family-friendly event encourages everyone to come out and skate to burn off Thanksgiving dinner. The Ice Arena, 4001 S. 20th St., is just south of Howard Avenue.
Movie soundtracks will be featured, but people can also request songs. Skaters will glow as they glide around the rink wearing glow-in-the-dark necklaces. The admission, a glow-in-the-dark necklace, skate rental (if needed), and an entry into drawings for door prizes are included in the $5 per person fee. A wide range of skate sizes are available. Children age 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Parents, caregivers or others who choose not to skate can watch the event free of charge.
