Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings NFL Preview
Saturday night's Green Bay Packer game against the Minnesota Vikings marks the return of Brett ... Hundley

Saturday night's game against the Minnesota Vikings marks the return of Brett ... Hundley. The Green Bay Packers put starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers on Injured Reserve this week, ending his season. In his stead, third-year man Brett Hundley resumes his interim role as the Packers starting quarterback.
Hundley guided the Packers to victories over Tampa Bay, Chicago, and Cleveland during Rodgers' 8-week absence. He saw his first action of the season in an Oct. 15 loss in Minnesota. In that game, Rodgers went out with a broken collarbone.
Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy putting Rodgers on Injured Reserve was in his best interest after it was revealed that he wasn’t completely healed from a collarbone injury. In the complex NFC playoff picture, the Packers mathematical playoff odds officially fell to zero Monday night when the Atlanta Falcons beat the Tampa Bay buccaneers 24-21. With the Packers out of playoff contention, it may not have made sense to risk their injured franchise quarterback.
