GREENDALE, WI – July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Greendale , so you can start planning now.

Annual Parade

Where: Greendale's Fourth of July parade begins at W. Grange Ave. and Northway and proceeds down Northway into the Village.

Before the parade, the community is invited to read parts of the Declaration of Independence. Volunteers will be called upon to read parts of the declaration. The reading will take place at the Flagpole in front of Greendale Village Hall, 6500 Northway. The reading is expected to be complete just as the Children's Parade takes to the street.

When: The parade lineup begins at 9:30 a.m. and the Children's Parade begins at 10 a.m.

Lions Fest

Greendale's annual Lions Family Fourth Fest is an annual tradition that attracts thousands of visitors to the four day festival. In 2019, the festival will run from July 3 to July 6 and will be held at the Historic Hose Tower, 5699 Parking Street. Carnival rides, live music, craft beer and wine will all be part of the festivities.

Fireworks Display

Where: Firework display at dusk from Brinkman Field near the high school on Southway.

When: Fireworks will begin at dusk, approximately 9:15 p.m.
