Greendale Blood Drive Planned For Friday
After giving blood, donors will receive a free pint of ice cream from Culver's and a $5 Amazon gift card.
GREENDALE, WI—Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood, according to the American Red Cross.
It is essential for surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries, the organization said. Whether a patient receives whole blood, red cells, platelets or plasma, this lifesaving care starts with one person making a generous donation.
To help save lives, Greendale Celebrations has organized a blood drive that will take place this Friday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Greendale High School.
