Greendale Candidate Forum Set
The Greendale Education Foundation is coordinating and hosting the event.

GREENDALE, WI -- The Greendale Education Foundation will sponsor a Greendale Candidate Forum moderated by the League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County to educate voters on the upcoming local Greendale elections.
One candidate forum will be held this year for School Board candidates. Village Board of Trustees candidates are running unopposed. The date of the Spring Election is Tuesday, April 2, 2019.
The School Board Candidate Forum will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2019, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Greendale High School Multipurpose Room, 6801 Southway. For the School Board, six candidates are registered for two seats in the Spring Primary Election on Tuesday, February 19, 2019.

All of the candidates have been invited and are expected to participate.
Candidates for School Board are Lorin M. Schuchardt, Mary L. Grogan, Thor Misko, Noelle Joers-Yanisch, Diannia Merriett, and Jason Dobbs.

The Candidate Forums are an open format to allow the candidates to answer questions posed by the audience and unbiased questions through a moderator. Each question will be directed to all candidates. All moderation, timing and sorting of questions will be done by the League of Women Voters to ensure impartiality to the proceeding.
The Greendale Education Foundation is coordinating and hosting the event. The public and the local media are invited. Residents may also meet and discuss concerns with the candidates following the Forum.
