Greendale High School Presents Disney’s 'Newsies'

GREENDALE, WI -- Tickets to the Greendale High School Theatre 2019 Spring Musical, Disney’s NEWSIES are now on sale. The production runs from March 8 through March 16. Based on the 1992 motion picture and inspired by a true story, Newsies features songs: “Carrying the Banner,” “Seize the Day,” and “Santa Fe.”

Set in turn-of-the century New York City, Newsies is the story of Jack Kelly, a newsboy and leader of a band of teenage "newsies." When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions.

Performance dates and times:

EVENINGS (7:30 p.m.): Friday, March 8, and Friday and Saturday, March 15 and 16
MATINEE (4:00 p.m.): Saturday, March 9
MATINEE (2:00 p.m.): Sunday, March 10

Tickets to evening performances are $10 for adults and $8 for students 18 and under. Tickets to the Saturday, March 9 and Sunday, March 10 matinees are all $7. All seats are Reserved.
