Greendale Hosting Bone Marrow Match Event For Jordan Schindler

Jordan needs a bone marrow or stem cell transplant to fight his disease and to date, there is no direct match for him.

GREENDALE, WI — Greendale High School junior Jordan Schindler was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, and the school is hosting a bone marrow drive to help him fight this disease.

Greendale High School, 6801 Southway, Greendale, is hosting a Be the Match Bone Marrow Drive on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Rooms 103/105 at the school.

To become a bone marrow donor, interested parties between ages 18 and 44 may register by visiting the Jordan’s Journey event on May 8. Potential donors can also register online by texting JordansJourney to 61474 or by visiting join.bethematch.org/jordansjourney and following the prompts to register.

There is no cost for adults ages 18 to 44 to register.
