Greendale Juneau Park Beer Garden Opening Moved To May 10

The keg tapping will be held at 5 p.m. with free beer while supplies last.

GREENDALE, WI -- A keg tapping to celebrate the season opening of the Traveling Beer Garden's Roll Out The Barrel Tour at Juneau Park 8831 N. Root River Parkway in Greendale has been moved to Friday, May 10, county officials said Wednesday morning.

The keg tapping will be held at 5 p.m. with free beer while supplies last.

The Traveling Beer Garden features 12 craft beer handles with beers from Sprecher Brewing Company, and live music from local musicians Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

County officials say that drinking at the Traveling Beer Garden supports future park projects, as all profits are returned to the parks department. Food at the Roll Out the Barrel Tour will be provided by the Iron Grate BBQ food truck.

The Traveling Beer Gardens open 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. during the week and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the weekends with last call taking place at 9 p.m.
