Greendale Man's Home Burglarized While He's Outside

A burglar who took items from a Greendale home July 22 decided not to wait until his victim was gone at work, or even fast asleep.

Instead, the suspect walked right in while the man was outside.

According to the Greendale Police Department, a resident on Gladstone Lane said after being outside his home, he went inside to find his dressers were open and several pieces of jewelry missing.

Police believe the incident occurred sometime after 4 p.m. The suspect is believed to have gone through an unlocked door.
