Greendale Middle School Students Upgrade Outdoor Classroom In Woods Behind School

Students volunteered during their spring break to build an outdoor learning area behind Greendale Middle School.

GREENDALE - Eighth-grade student volunteers from Greendale Middle School took time out of their spring break Wednesday to work on cleaning up an area in the woods for an outdoor classroom.

Students hauled logs and lined the main trail from Canterbury Elementary School to the sidewalk surrounding the woods.

The students are returning after spring break to finish mulching the trails and build a classroom area in the woods, located between Canterbury's library and the Greendale Middle School parking lot.
