Greendale Snowy Sidewalks 'No Fun' For Dog Walker
A Greendale resident reached out to Patch about the treacherous sidewalks in his neighborhood. Can you help?
GREENDALE, WI — Winter has taken a toll on just about everybody in Wisconsin, and one Greendale resident wants to let people know to be safe on some of the village's more treacherous sidewalks.
One Greendale resident who wished not to be identified reached out to Patch over the weekend with photos and a story, after he said he nearly fell multiple times while he was out walking his dog.
"You have to remove your snow from your sidewalk within 24 yours after it snows," he said. "There are so many sidewalks in the O section not shoveled and very icy."

According to local ordinances, village officials require property owners to clear snow sidewalks of snow and ice within 12 hours after a snowfall.
