Greendale Teen Jumped Outside Walmart: Police

GREENDALE, WI — Authorities in Greendale are following up on an apparent assault case after the parents of a 17-year-old said their son was jumped outside near the Walmart.

According to Greendale police call logs, the mother of the Greendale teen called police just after 8 a.m. on Sep. 4 to report that her son was jumped by four suspects near Southridge Mall.

Police said the 17-year-old victim was walking near the Walmart parking lot when the suspects punched the victim in the jaw and kicked him while he was on the ground.

According to police, authorities are following up on the incident and are tracking down video surveillance footage from nearby businesses to learn more about the suspects involved in the assault.
