Greendale's Hallowing's Carve and Display Event

Free event for the community.

HALLOWINGS is coming back to Greendale’s Gazebo Park. Hallowing's is scary Fun in Gazebo park. Carve and display a pumpkin for FREE, and Greendale Park and Rec and Gift of Wings, will create the largest display of lighted pumpkins in Milwaukee County.

Times and dates are October 27 through November 1st. Tuesday through Thursday 4-8pm, Friday 4-9 pm, Saturday 11-9pm and Sun 11-7pm.

This is a FREE event with a lot of fun things to do. Carve and Display a pumpkin which will be put on a lighted display for everyone to see each night. They will also have pumpkins for sale if you choose to take one home. Free Pumpkin Bowling and Gourd Golf. PUNKIN CHUNKIN on Sunday November 1st at the Greendale High School which is new this year! Live Music Thursday (Brian Drow from 5-8pm), Friday (Rohn Larson 5-8pm), Saturday (Heather Jean Maywood 12-2 & The Doofi 5-8pm) and Sunday (The Bryan O'Donnell Band from 12-3pm). Costume contest on Saturday at 3pm with prizes for the best costumes. Then off you go to Trick or Treat from 4-7pm. Food and the Best Ice Cream and Mini Donuts in Greendale are being sold by Gift of Wings.

Covid-19 safety guidelines will be followed during this event. The Covid plan for Hallowings is as follows.

1). The carving tent will have a completely open side to allow fresh air in and allow people to avoid each other

2). The carving table and tools will be sterilized after each use

3). The tents and games will be spread out throughout the park to avoid unnecessary contact. Games will also be sterilized after each use

4). Sanitizing stations will be put in the park for guest use.

5). Staff will be masked, Gloves will be worn while working with food. Food condiments will be handed to each guest independently with each purchase.

6). Guests will be encouraged to keep the proper distances, 6 feet especially when in line for food or games, wear a mask when interacting with staff. Wash hands and sanitize on a regular basis.
