Man Accused of Exposing Self in Children's Clothing Store at Southridge

A 20-year-old Milwaukee man is accused of exposing himself to customers at the Children’s Place in Southridge Mall.

William Armstrong was charged with one count of misdemeanor lewd and lascivious behavior in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Friday.

According to court documents, an employee of Children’s Place was approached by a customer who told her a man inside the store was making her feel uncomfortable. When the employee approached the man, later identified as Armstrong, his penis was exposed and he was masturbating, according to police.

Another store employee told police, according to the criminal complaint, she saw Armstrong’s arm move in a way that would suggest he was masturbating in the store.

If convicted, Armstrong faces a maximum of 9 months of imprisonment, $10,000 in fines, or both.
