Man With Open Intoxicant Crashes Into Tree
He was arrested for his second operating while intoxicated offense, inattentive driving and having an open intoxicant in his vehicle July 7.

A man who was driving drunk struck a tree near the intersection of the Root River Parkway and West Loomis Road around 7 p.m. July 7.
He was arrested for his second operating while intoxicated offense, inattentive driving and having an open intoxicant in his vehicle.
The man suffered minor head injuries and was taken to Froedtert Hospital, where he was treated before police took him to the Vista View Motel on 27th Street, where he spent the night.

At 1:15 a.m. that same morning in an unrelated incident, two underage woman were arrested for underage drinking at the intersection of South 51st Street and College Avenue after one person was found lying in a ditch near a vehicle.
