Three Treated After Woman Uses Pepper Spray in Southridge

A woman fighting with security was arrested, while paramedics from three communities assisted in treating people exposed to the pepper spray.

Three people were treated after a woman discharged pepper spray at Southridge Mall about 1:55 p.m. May 11, according to the Greendale Police Department call sheet. 

The woman was resisting security in the food court near Rocky Rococo and was taken into custody for retail theft, police said.

Paramedics from Greendale, Greenfield and Hales Corners arrived at the scene to treat people exposed to the pepper spray, including one person with asthma and heart history and a pregnant woman with abdominal pain.
