New Restaurant Opening September in Greendale

GREENDALE, WI — Greendale will soon be home to a new restaurant that will house two concepts. The new restaurant, Dia y Noche, will be located at 6601 Northway in Greendale.

Restaurant owner Mike Drilling said Dia will be a café that features coffee, bakery and breakfast. Noche will be a full restaurant and bar that features South American, Central American and Caribbean cuisine.

Dia y Noche is owned by Mike Drilling's Drilling Restaurant Group, which also runs the Panther Pub.

The restaurant is slated to open in September.

“The design is such that when you come in, it will transport you to Central America, or the Caribbean,” Drilling said in a Milwaukee Magazine report. “Whether you’re dining inside or outside, you’re dining in Puerto Rico.”
